The Swiss Molecular Hematology Society has been founded as a scientific working group association with the aim of creating a network and a platform for diagnostic laboratories in Switzerland. The working group promotes high-level continuing education in this fast moving field of molecular diagnostics and organizes bi-annual business meetings for scientists, clinicians as well as an annual meeting for technicians focusing on the newest technology and its applications within the diagnostic field of hematological neoplasm. The SMH is a not only platform for scientific topics, but also facilitates networking for its members, creates opportunities to interact with invited faculty, as well as with industrial sponsors.
